Environmental Stewardship

A healthy environment is paramount to the economic prosperity, educational success, cultural vibrancy, and the health and wellness of residents of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. But more than that, the Chesapeake Bay, along with its rivers and tributaries, are a way of life for those of us fortunate enough to live here.

Our Goals:

  • Collaboration among nonprofits, businesses, governments, educational institutions, and residents to promote actions that will have a beneficial effect on the health of the natural environment and local economy.

  • Public awareness and opportunities for education about protecting the natural environment and the impact of public and private actions on the natural environment.

  •  Citizen, government and nonprofit engagement to improve and protect the health of the Chesapeake Bay.
